About the Program

The Program's goal is to assist displaced homemakers with their efforts to move toward economic and emotional self-sufficiency. Services include:
  • Help with Career Decision Making
  • Emotional issues and changes addressed
  • Computer Training
  • Workshops: divorce and separation, Financial Management, Assertiveness Training and Self-esteem, etc.
  • Adkins Life Skills/Employability Skills
  • Support groups
  • Referrals to educational institutions and community agencies
Follow-up support is offered to clients as they work toward their goals.
